Dr. Marisa Ponzo

Dr. Marisa Ponzo is a double board-certified Dermatologist at the North York Dermatology Clinic. She earned her MD-PhD from McGill University, specializing in cancer biology, and completed her Dermatology training at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Ponzo founded the PHC Dermatology Centre at St Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, where she also served as Division Head of Dermatology. She co-directed the Med Safe clinic, focusing on severe skin adverse reactions. With a special interest in melanoma, Dr. Ponzo trained at the Melanoma Institute Australia in Sydney. Her expertise spans medical and cosmetic dermatology, and she actively participates in clinical trials and research.
