MARK LUPIN, BSC MD FRCPC DABD FAAD
Dr. Lupin is a Board certified Dermatologist with FRCPC since 1996. He has degrees magna cum laude in Applied Mathematics and Performing Arts as well as having specialty training in Internal Medicine, Neurology and Dermatology. He studied at Indiana University, University of Southern California, Dalhousie University, University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Lupin has a particular interest in photomedicine, having also trained in dermatologic photobiology at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, London, England, with Dr. John Hawk, a pioneer in the field.

In the Mathematical field of fluid dynamics, Dr. Lupin has worked in the Marine, Aerospace and Aesthetic Device Industries. He is a Key Opinion Leader for several companies and enjoys work with Research.

He is a concert violinist and Concertmaster of the World Doctors Orchestra, performing regular charitable concerts. He won the Heifetz Scholarship Award for two years’ private studies with the famous violinist, Jascha Heifetz, in Beverly Hills.

Dr Stuart Maddin invited Dr. Lupin to present at Dermatology Update in Vancouver many years ago on the topic of infrared light and photoprotection. This is where he first met Dr. Sheldon Pinnell, the ‘father of vitamin C’ and founding scientist of SkinCeuticals.
