Dr. Chris Keeling

Chris Keeling MSc MD, FRCPC, FAAD is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Dermatology at the University of Alberta in the Department of Medicine. He is the Secretary-Treasurer of the Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation (CHSF). He has a private practice (Symmetry Dermatology) in an accredited Non-Hospital Surgical Facility in south Edmonton. He is a trained Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and provides a broad range of medical, aesthetic, and laser services.
He is a past President of the Alberta Society of Dermatology and the President of the Section of Dermatology at the Alberta Medical Association. He continues his passion for teaching at Symmetry Dermatology by training Residents in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology, and Family Medicine.
He has a special interest in Hidradenitis Suppurativa offering both medical and surgical management for the disease. He co-developed the inaugural "Higher Standards" hands on surgical program for HS supported by the CHSF, training dermatologists from across Canada.
