Dr. Björn Thomas

Dr. Björn Thomas is a Consultant Dermatologist specializing in Dermato-Oncology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. He holds a PhD for his research on atopic eczema, investigating its genetic architecture and the effects of environmental stress and pollution. Dr. Thomas graduated with Distinction from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London, and received the Brackenbury Prize for Medicine and Surgery. His postgraduate training was completed in London, with Dermatology training at Bart’s Health NHS Trust and the Royal Free Hospital.

He completed a Dermatology Fellowship in Dermato-Oncology, focusing on cutaneous lymphoma, graft-versus-host disease, and melanoma. In his private practice, Dr. Thomas treats a range of skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, atopic eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers. He also performs skin surgery, including the removal of benign lesions and steroid injections for various conditions.
