Dr. Nicole Hawkins
Dr. Hawkins is a dual board certified dermatologist practicing in Calgary and Okotoks, Alberta. She splits her time evenly between medical and cosmetic dermatology. Nicole completed an undergraduate honors thesis in Nutrition at Acadia University and her MD at Queen’s School of Medicine.
During medical school, she was Chair of the Ontario Medical Students Association for two years. She completed her residency in Dermatology at the University of Toronto in 2014 before moving to Saskatoon where she co-founded the province’s largest dermatology clinic, encompassing medical and cosmetic dermatology, and clinical research. This business was sold in 2019, and she moved home to Calgary.
Dr. Hawkins’ hobbies include reading, running, skiing and spending the summers at the cottage with her young family.

Treatment and maintenance of xerotic skin using a once-daily lipid-replenishing cleanser and moisturizer – an open-label, multicenter cohort study
In this session, Nicole Hawkins, MD, FRCPC, will review the results of this open-label, multicenter cohort study demonstrating that a once-daily lipid-replenishing skincare regimen was very well tolerated in subjects prone to skin irritation as well as significantly improved aesthetic signs of xerosis, including skin dryness.
