Dr Myrela Machado is a board-certified dermatologist from Brazil. She performed the postgraduate training (residency) at the National Reference Center in Sanitary Dermatology Dona Libania, which is a medical center that offers interdisciplinary assessment and care for dermatological diseases from a low-income population from Ceará State (Northeastern Brazil).

Following the completion of her residency training in dermatology, she started and obtained a PhD in 2016 at the Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Federal University of Ceara. Her research interests include general medical dermatology.
