Elena Netchiporouk, MD, MSc, FRCPC, FCDA
Dr. Netchiporouk obtained her MD degree from Université de Montréal and completed her MSc in Experimental Medicine and residency training at McGill University. She has been appointed Assistant Professor of Dermatology in 2018 and Assistant Professor of Experimental Medicine and Junior Scientist within the Infectious Diseases and Immunity in Global Health (IDIGH) Program at McGill in 2020. Her clinical and research focus is immune-mediated diseases in dermatology with particular focus on mast cell disorders (e.g. urticaria, mastocytosis), skin fibrosis (e.g. morphea) and adult genodermatoses. Her research is supported by Canadian Dermatology Foundation, Fonds de Recherche Santé Québec, Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and McGill University grants.
