Treat Your Wounds and Scars Naturally

Wounds can be defined as loss of the protective function of the skin as a result of injury, caused by accidents, surgeries, diseases, or chemicals. Wound healing is a dynamic process that includes inflammatory, proliferation, and maturation phases. Additionally, not properly healing wounds, due a variety of reasons, ranging from infection to hypoxia, can be pain- and distressful, as well as result in increased care-giver burden and economic impact.

A recently developed, all-natural wound treatment, has been shown in many clinical trials to be an effective, safe and easy to use spray that could result in cost-savings versus other treatment options. This daily treatment can be used to manage a variety of acute and chronic wounds, including burn wounds, diabetic foot ulcer, and traumatic wounds in children (older than one month) and adult patients. In the biological process of wound healing and repair, fibrous tissue can be formed widely known as scar tissue. The longer the healing process takes the greater the chance of noticeable scars.

Also scars been reported to cause physical and psychological discomfort. Green oil from Hyoscyamus niger (henbane oil) has been reported in three observational studies to be an effective and safe natural treatment option to improve the appearance of scar tissue in adult patients. After regular use of green oil, old scar tissue is broken up and softened, existing subcutaneous adhesions dissolve and keloids were displaceable and gradually removed.
